TRAVEL DIARIES (DUBAI)

DUBAI is the city of Arabic dreams. It is a top tourist destination in the world and millions of people go there to travel every year. We love Dubai because it is beautiful with its deserts and city and shopping life and then it is also convenient being only a 6 hour flight from Uganda. In Dubai, we stayed at the Novotel Hotel on Sheikh Zayeed Road that we booked via BOOKING.COM which was very convenient and easy to use because it shows you all the best hotel rates wherever you want to go.

The people are so friendly and willing to help out in any way possible. Also there is a vast mix of different cultures due to the fact that so many people are all over the city which makes it even more interesting to go and visit.

We went shopping in Deira and the streets are lined with all sorts of amazing designs and clothes especially the women's fashion staple which is the Kaftan. Going from one place to another is easy because there is Uber black that can provide luxury transportation to and from to make you feel like a princess and it is definitely worth your money.

Dubai has so much stuff to do with the malls, theme parks, water parks, shopping, desert rides, etc. We loved shopping there and also the night life is pretty incredible which we got to see at a club called Sensations that plays African music so it is like a home away from home.

However, this is a place where you would rather go on holiday as opposed to living there permanently because it is expensive and a bottle of water is even more expensive than fuel! So you would have to make sure you come with enough money in order to fully enjoy the DUBAI EXPERIENCE.
